How can I calculate percent error?

To calculate percent error you do the following:

% error = ##("measured - accepted")/"accepted"*100##

The measured value is the one that you take during the experiment. The accepted value is the standard value that is accepted by chemists around the world. You then multiply by 100 because you need to make the number into a percent.
