How do you find x and y intercepts of ##3x – y = 9##?
x intercept is x =3 ; y intercept is y = -9
In the Equation 3x - y = 9 x intercept is when y = 0 So by putting y = 0 in the above equation we get 3x = 9 Hence x = 3
y intercept is when x = 0 So by putting x = 0 in the above equation we get -y = 9 Hence y = -9
