How do you put the equation ##2y-3x=5## into slope-intercept form, and graph the equation?
To put an equation into y-intercept form we have to isolate the ##y## variable.
The ##y## term needs to be on it's own side of the equation, as in the slope intercept form: ##y=mx+b##, where ##m## is the slope of line and ##b## is intercept on ##y##-axis.
To do this we have to add ##3x## to the other side. The equation now looks like ##2y=3x+5##. In the final step, because we want ##y## by itself, we have to divide both sides by ##2##. We are left with ##y=1.5x+2.5##.
