How does stellar parallax support the heliocentric model?
The fact that we observe means that the a Earth is moving.
When we observe the position of a star its position changes over the course of a year. It will return to the same position a year after the first measurement. This effectively proves that is in orbit.
If the Earth was at the center of the Universe there would be no parallax.
