How would you add two vectors that aren't perpendicular or parallel?

Vector addition is very simple.

In order to add vectors we draw them head-to-tail. The resulting vector is the vector that connects the tail of the first vector to the head of the second, like here:

In order to figure out the magnitude of the resulting vector, you can either just measure it with a ruler or use some trigonometry if you know the angle between the vectors.
