For this assignment, you create a Google slide children’s book that showcases geometry in everyday life. Thebook will be based on one of the children’s books you chose on the Google doc at the beginning of the schoolyear. You will be modifying the text to be your own like a sequel or prequel to the well-known story you chose. Here is what is needed:1. A title page (include your name)2. TEKS—1 or 2 listed standards3. 6 additional pages of text4. Each page must include text5. Each story must have a geometry theme and be consistent throughout the pages6. Each page must include photographs/original drawings (other art must be preapproved inwriting—talk to me then send an email. No clipart and no cutting and pasting off of the internet). You must create the art.7. The last page(s) must include a solvable mathematical dilemma without an answer written in thetext. The slides listed bring the total to 8. Please remember to focus your slideshow on mathematical reasoning. The mathematical narrative must focus on your chosen TEK.When the assignment is due, you will upload 1 copy through Canvas. You also need to turn in a type-written orhand-written solution using words and pictures (not just an algorithm). Some Concerns to Consider:There are several focal points that must be addressed when evaluating your work. First, is there a theme? Did youdevelop a narrative that makes sense in relation to the theme or are word problems simply listed? It is important toemphasize theme and plot as you construct your narrative. Do not just list word problems on each page. Second,is the mathematics logical? Are the numbers reasonable within the context? For example, a new shirt would notcost $0.25 or a standard car would not go 100 miles per hour on the freeway, but in certain comical or fantasysituations this may be appropriate. Third, is the mathematical dilemma solvable using the data in the text? Textelements must exist to help the reader answer the dilemma embedded in the narrative. Sometimes, criticalinformation is omitted. The reader should not have to look things up on the internet. Finally, can the authorexplain and answer the dilemma?ReferencesStein, M.
