Human Resources Management Roles

The purpose of this assignment is to ensure that you understand the various roles of HR. 

• Write a 350- to 700-word paper in which you identify human resource management's role in the health care industry. Describe the functional roles of the human resource department based on your textbook, class discussion, and Electronic Reserve Readings. Define and describe each of the roles:

• Recruiting/retention

• Training

• Performance management

• Regulatory compliance

• Compensation and benefits

• Your description of each role should included details as to what HR does with regard to each role. For example, in the recruiting section a description of what HR does in terms of hiring new staff should be described. 

  Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines. 

  Cite at least 2 peer-reviewed, scholarly, or similar references. Reserve readings and SHRM website materials may be used.
