I am doing a lab report on acceleration. I am using the formula v=2(x)/t to find velocity. I used an example paper and this was the example: distance was .30 m, time was .48 seconds, and some how velocity was .74 m/s. how? I took my distance which was .20, multiplied by 2, divided by the time which was 0.40 seconds. The answer was 1 m/s. Im so confused. Am I doing something wrong?
