I am doing research into the security policies for data breaches when it comes to protecting businesses and individuals, especially from a technology standpoint and the data breach posture.

I am looking at Washington State and comparing it to the policies of the other states.

I would like to know 3 things with websites of where the info was found please.

1.     What is the security data breach posture of the state of Washington?

2.     What are the recent or big security breaches in Washington, especially from individual businesses?

3.     Is there any pending legislation that could possibly affect the current data breach posture?
