2 Randomization Test for a Difference Between Two Means

Researchers are studying the effects of caffeine on the body. They want to know if people who consume a caffeinated coffee can tap their fingers more rapidly than people who consume a decaffeinated coffee. Twenty students were randomly divided into two groups of ten each. One group received a caffeinated coffee while the other received a decaffeinated coffee. Two hours later their finger tapping rates were measured in taps per minute. These data are in the "Finger Taps on Caffeine" dataset that is built in to StatKey. Use the five steps outlined in the online notes to conduct a hypothesis test to address this research question.
