I am in the 'curve sketching' section of my calculus book and the function is y= x√(2-x^2)
In order to sketch the function I need the domain, intercepts, symmetry, asymptotes, intervals of increase/decrease, local maximum/minimum, concavity and points of inflection. I calculated that the domain does not equal +2 or -2, the intercept is (0,0) and that it is an odd function.
Can somebody explain how to find the asymptotes of this function?
