The abstract should be one or two paragraphs. The topic of the white paper should be clearly stated as a thesis statement. The first sentence of each paragraph should be a topic sentence stating the overall subject of the paragraph, and each successive sentence should either add detail or conclude the paragraph with a summarizing thought.
