Part I-

In relation to Security Management identify “three” “specific” research topics and examine their viability as a project or paper. Be comprehensive and detailed.

Here I am thinking- Cyber Security, Training and Development, and Workplace Violence (or any suggest topics) in regards to Security Management. 

Part II

Considering your three prospective research topics; thoroughly discuss a preliminary research plan that would be necessary to complete a strong project/paper that comprehensively incorporates appropriate academic and other legitimate sources.

What are the American people getting for their dollar? Are Air Marshal’s the only answer to avoiding a similar 9/11 attack? Are there any viable alternatives?Background and Significance: Basically, the FAM program became a spotlight topic post 9/11. The mere fact the United States (U.S.) is in (or was in) an economic depression makes the funding of FAM a significant challenge.

Primary research: Primary research is firsthand knowledge, anecdotal information, etc. You will probably not be using primary sources in the capstone process.

Secondary research: Historical books related to 9/11 and terrorism; Air Marshal Training documentation (unclassified); prior security management course text books related to cost effectivenessTertiary research: abundant media source information dating back to 2001; Including the forming of the agency and numerous accounts of bad management and misconduct.Preliminary Studies: The student plans to use some former FAM and law enforcement employment knowledge to substantiate and expand on the research from that point.Research Design and Method:The research method will be qualitative in nature drawing mostly from archival resources.
