Creating an Assessment Timeline[WLOs: 1, 4] [CLO: 1]

In any assessment process, it is necessary to ensure your project stays on task and will meet established deadlines. This assessment is no different. In the Community Needs Assessment - Hopkins Park, IL Download Community Needs Assessment - Hopkins Park, IL https://uagc.instructure.com/courses/144449/files/23014919?wrap=1file, you will note a hypothetical project management chart using the Monday system. Prior to beginning work on this assignment, visit Monday.comLinks to an external sitehttp://www.monday.com/.. This website is free and allows you to track and organize various activities, like community assessments.

For your Week 1 assignment, you will need to create your own project plan using the Monday website. You are encouraged to copy the project headings in the example. Where yours will differ is in the due dates, status markings, and timelines. As you are completing this in Week 1, most everything will have a status of “Not Started,” which is perfectly acceptable. Review the Community Needs Assessment - Hopkins Park, IL Download Community Needs Assessment - Hopkins Park, ILhttps://uagc.instructure.com/courses/144449/files/23014919?wrap=1file for examples.

    • Select “Graduate Student” followed by “Continue.”
    • Select “Only me” for how many are on your team, followed by “Continue.”
    • Select “Project Management,” followed by “Continue.”
    • Select anything for “how did you hear about us” and continue.
    • Select “Remind me later” in the lower left corner for teammates.
    • For your board’s name, use your community name (Hopkins Park, IL), then select “Next.”
    • For “relevant columns,” due date, status, and timeline are recommended. The others are your decision. When ready select “Next.”
    • For the “items to manage,” “Projects” is preferred, but “Tasks” are also fine. Select whatever you feel works best for you to stay organized. When ready, select “Next.”
    • For “View Layout,” you must select “Table” for continuity with the class, then select “Next.”
    • For your first three projects, try the following:
      • Community Stakeholder Data
      • Community Macro Data
      • CHANGE Sector Information
    • For your time frame, use the weekly dates of the course. When ready, select “Get Started.”
      • The example uses “Week 1 Course Start (12/25/2030–12/31/2029)” and “Week 2 (1/1–1/7).”
    • With your project board now open, begin by selecting the “+ Add new group” button to add the remaining weeks of the course.
    • You can then fill in the Projects or Tasks sections with the titles shown in the example.
    • Finally, adjust the due dates and timelines to match those of the course.
    • Once your information is entered, select the three dots in the upper right corner of your project page. Select “More actions” and “Export board to Excel.”
    • Once downloaded, upload your completed Excel file to Waypoint for grading and feedback.
  • Utilize appropriate project titles.
  • Utilize appropriate project time frames.

Note: Each week, as you make progress, adjust the status of your board. The board submissions are due in Week 1 and Week 5. You may want to “unsubscribe” from all Monday email updates. These will not be relevant to the course and will only clutter your inbox.
