I am taking General Chemistry at UConn and a firm working knowledge of algebra is needed. I have not done algebra in 45 years. The text book is "Chemistry - Principles and Reactions" by Masterton, Hurley and Neth. At the end of Chapter 2 we have a number of problems which use the Key Equation "Atomic MassY=(atomic massY1) x %Y1 divided by100% + (atomic mass Y2) x %Y2 divided by 100%." Do you have this book? I need help with reformulating this equation.
