I am trying to put together the best study design for my research methods project. My key research question is "What key factors cause adults to become addicted to onli gambling"? My Dependent variable is to measure addiction by ti me spent gambling online. My independent variable is going to be, "Do adult online gamblers exhibit any stress, addictions or mental issues that keep them gambling online, and if so what are the triggers"? 

So I was looking at utilizing a multiple group design for a survey and assign my groups of participants to correlated samples. I'm am thinking of using a 2 way ANOVA with 4 independent sample groups to interpret my results. 

Can anyone assist me with why or why not this may or may not be effective?
