A. As you've now learned in biosphere materials this week, biodiversity is an extremely important component to human survival on Earth. Currently, extinction rates are widespread and increasing. Find an organism currently threatened or endangered with extinction. You may chose flora or fauna anywhere on Earth. Upload an image of the organism and briefly summarize where it is located and why it is in danger of becoming extinct. If you're interested in a species the United States, see the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service website at http://www.fws.gov/endangered/ for the current threatened/endangered species list. You can search a specific region and/or simply click on the "threatened and endangered animals and plants" lists. You may include maps and/or other images of your organism if you chose. Extra Credit Opportunity (optional; worth 1 point) - feel free to include any other interesting/fun facts or information you find about the species you have chosen.

Choose 1-2 terrestrial biomes to research further and summarize (can be any of the 17 discussed throughout the reading; i.g.
