I did a lab in my organic chemistry lab called Re-crystallization and melting points of pure solids.  We particularly re-crystallized sulfanilamide and fluorene.  My lab partner and I failed at this lab! I mean, we got crystals in the end, but we had no idea what to do after that and we were clueless as to what we were suppose to learn.  Now I am trying to write a lab report, and I am struggling.  I need help knowing the key concepts of re-crystallizing sulfanilamide and finding its melting point.
