I have a colpitts oscillator that is successfully self-oscillating at 1.8mHz (with feedback loop)The transistor I am using in it is a 2N222A.Now I want to modify it so that it can become a transmitter (just to sent out a simple tone, like 1kHz)I understand that the carrier frequency need to mix with the tone, but I do not know how it'll be done, can you please explain it to me?In addition, if you can give me a general schematic for the transmitter, it'll be very helpful as well. Please keep this circuit as simple as possible, as I am trying to understand the basic concept, or please explain each step so I would know exactly how it work. Thanks
