Nutritional Analysis Project:
A final written project is required that will address meal planning, nutritional requirements, and special populations. Each section should be created as if it will be given directly to the client and should be clear enough for a client to follow.
Section 1:
- General meal plan for using a 1 day example (3 meals and 2
- snacks) for a 2000 calorie/day diet.
- How would you adjust this diet for someone who is (provide caloric ranges for each category)
- Sedentary
- Low active
- Active
- Very active
- Include all food groups/macronutrients according to MyPlate and ensure the person would get all the necessary micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) (be sure to display this).
- Include portion sizes.
- Put your meal plan in an easy to read table
- Provide a thorough justification in a written section for why you chose the foods you did (e.g. what nutrients are being addressed in each food). Explain how your chosen food address the MyPlate goals and desired caloric range.
