There are important clauses omitted within the laws and have had major effects on members particularly farmers and product consumers. It is essential for the clauses to be included within the laws to allow for the application of the policy. The organization must also ensure consideration of public opinion. For example, for the problems faced by farmers in the region, their opinion is of high importance towards the policies.

European Union has various policies to govern their tasks. One common policy is that which controls the agricultural sector- The Common Agriculture Policy. This policy was initiated in 1962 with the objective of ensuring just the criteria for agricultural production. It came into force to improve the production of stable quality and cheap food. Although the policy has helped members in bettering production, it also led to some negative effects- it needs some alterations to be fully effective.

Through the implementation and operations of the policy, there have been better economic advancement of the members (Cini, 2007, 13).
