I need help creating a thesis and an outline on The Crash of the Flight 232. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. Credibly, the crew members of United Airlines Flight 232 were well-trained and efficient enough to deal with such an emergency situation, which is apparent through their instant response and spontaneous but organized reaction to the problem. The later investigation further revealed that the pilot and the co-pilots were also well acquainted with their task and role in the airplane, which further played a key role to encourage and assist them in bringing the situation under control. The cabin crew was also very efficient in maintaining the nerves of the passengers on board (National Transportation Safety Board, 1990).

The captain and the co-pilots initially focused on the rear engine, which had exploded and went on with the shutdown process, without realizing that the hydraulics had stopped working and the airplane was inclined to the right. It was particularly owing to the fact that as the engine at the tail stopped working, the airplane, with its normal tendency, flipped on either side. However, the areas which needed more attention to indicate continuous monitoring of the aircraft to prevent it from further degradation of control, since the initial identification of the risk. As the measure was taken at the later stage, it caused a relative failure of machinery equipment in the airplane. Correspondingly, to bring the plane at a balanced level, the crew needed to minimize the level of descent at the initial stage of risk identification. This can also be regarded as another vital issue that needed more attention from the crew.

Main Factors That Affected Resolution of the Problem

United Airlines Flight 232 was concluded to have faced the disaster due to a lack of proper maintenance of its technical equipment. Correspondingly, the main factors to have prevented the onboard crew to take up a required resolution in the prevention of the aircraft from crashing can be summarized as follows. The tail-mounted engine had stopped working initially. After launching the shutdown process, it was observed that the normal system hydraulic pressure gauges stopped working.&nbsp.
