I need help writing a synthesis of the theoretical position and research related to Second Language Acquisition. I need to provide a critical summary of the theoretical claims and evidence to support these claims on either "side" of the controversy and draw a conclusion based on the available research.

here are all the instruction:

Elements of the paper:

Introduction - provide a brief summary of the controversy, alluding to the main points of the

papers you are including.

Synopsis - present the evidence on either side of the controversy, demonstrating your own understanding of how different theoretical positions relate and how data support claims made. You should include at least three (3) of the position papers from the Seidlhofer text; but can include as many as you wish (you are also welcome to pull from outside sources).

Conclusion - which aspects of the controversy remain controversial? Which (if any) seem largely resolved? Based on the data and theoretical positions you present in your paper, draw a conclusion on the state of the controversy. Note: The conclusion should be based on evidence presented, rather than your personal opinion. Do not include statements such as, "I think..." but rather, use the evidence to support the conclusion you draw.

Note. You are welcome to include references outside of the Seidlhofer texts to strengthen your conclusions. When citing from the Seidlhofer chapter, use the following format for in-text citations: (Author, page), for example, (Kasper, 202). Any additional resources should be included in your reference list; if you use only the Seidlhofer texts, you do not need to include a reference list.
