Focus strategy helps a company in focusing on given niche goods by learning the mobility of that market and what customers need, by developing low cost products for the market. By building strong brands among its customers, competitors will be less concerned in the company’s market sector. A company aims to be the lowest cost producer. Southwest Airlines is a good example of a company adhering to this strategy. (Porter, 1980)
