hi, I have a question on my statistics class chapter on multivariate discrete distributions. I supposed to find a and b when covariance is equal to 1/8. I know that covariance = E[x1,x2] - E[x1]E[x2], but I doesn't work. can someone answer this with detail steps. thanks
