• Work on Design, configure, setup and deploy of functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Engage in capacity planning, switches, routers & other network devices and Monitoring tools like Solar winds, cisco prime, Wireshark tools
• Provide technical services and support for the following areas:
• Network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, Cisco Switches and routers, and Firewalls
• Internal systems, cloud interfacing firms and network infrastructure.
• Implementing and troubleshooting complex layer 2 technologies such as VLAN Trunks, VTP, Ether-channel, STP, RSTP, PVST and MST.
• Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, Citrix, Sprint and ATT networks
• Configuring network tools so as to monitor and work to resolve Node alerts and notifications through Solar winds.
• Troubleshooting complex layer 2 technologies such as VLAN Trunks, VTP, Ether-channel, STP, RSTP, PVST and MST.
• Monitor network performance and integrity, as layer-3 Routing and layer-2 Switching resolve issues tiers of support have escalated.
• Create, oversee and test security measures, firewall rules, F5 load balancers (e.g. access authentication)
• Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review
• Configure and troubleshoot VOIP technologies
• Document maintenance for all projects and network infrastructure with share point integration
• Communication with business departments as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
