They are usually charged with the responsibility of taking care of patients after surgery, after they have gained consciousness. Moreover, they usually engage in consultation with their patients before surgery with an aim of giving them tips in regard to the manner by, which they should take care of themselves after the surgery process.

Ways by, which activism affect Perianesthesia Nurses

Activism directed towards improving nurses’ welfare affects the services offered by nurses in various ways. Generally this affects the overall healthcare services offered by recovery nurses in their line of work for instance: When activism is undertaken and facilitates improving recovery nurses’ pays, increasing the number of recovery nurses within an institution et cetera, it improves the morale of nurses hence improving their productivity.

Change

I believe I can cause change. this can be undertaken through different ways such as creating awareness among fellow nurses in regard to various facets of their duties. Moreover, I can facilitate change through advocacy and activism.

Activism is not usually a single person’s duty. however it is imperative that any person who does not feel satisfied with any form of management, should take an initiative to facilitate change.

Involvement of Nurses in Politics

Nurses should be involved in politics geared towards facilitating positive changes in healthcare systems that would basically improve healthcare service provision. Moreover, their involvement is imperative owing to the fact that they possess knowledge in health care services hence they know the specifics needed to improve health.
