Reading not only enhances knowledge it also increases word power, it enables a person to describe his experiences aptly and also enables him to understand the diverse vocabulary used around his surroundings.

One of my acquaintances lost her two and a half year old baby girl, nothing in the world could console her or help her to soothe for a while. After some time when friends and family stepped back and she had all the time to remember and cry, she hid her head in quality reading. The stories took her away for a while from her pain and misery and eventually she could feel that reading novels could soothe and console her in a manner which nothing else could do.
