I would have to say that linear functions have been the most valuable. It allowed us to look at real world situations to find out distance, time, money and other everyday things. Math shows up all around us but you really don’t think about it until you get involved in math problems. I can honestly say that I have struggled a lot through this course and honestly feel like after I complete this course I will loose some of the information learned due to the fact that I wont use it everyday but, I will take a lot of the information around graphing. I use that everyday through my job when reviewing reports with my staff. Going through the graph process here allowed me to understand that’s a great way to track everything and visually it easier for people to see trends and understand were gaps are.
