If f(x) = x 3 + 5x + 3, find: f(f -1 (5)) How is this solved? Do I need to find inverse of f(x) first and then sub 5 in for all x's and then sub it

If f(x) = x3 + 5x + 3,

find:

f(f-1(5))

How is this solved? Do I need to find inverse of f(x) first and then sub 5 in for all x's and then sub it in for f(x)?

I tried to find an inverse, but found that there is no inverse for f(x)? Please help
