If you were educated in the U.S., the American Revolution was a significant part of what you learned in school. If you were educated elsewhere, it probably was not. Use this journal entry to reflect on the difference (if any) between what you learned in school and what you know now after doing the readings for this topic. If your education was outside the U.S., reflect on the presence (or absence) of knowledge about American history in what you learned. What should the American revolution mean to Americans?
