Spa Center for Cancer Patients
After dealing with a number of family and friends who have all went through or going through some type of Cancer and Chemo or Radiation treatments. Just about all stated what it would be like to attend a Spa that was specifically for Cancer patients.
This Spa would consist of all sorts of treatments according to the patient themselves. It could include pedicures, manicures, full body massages or massages on a part of the body that is aching in pain. Also offering smoothies, juices, fruits and vegetables as a complementary gift to them, as well as offering complementary gifts of lotions and oils to use at home due to the dryness of their skin because of the treatments they are going through.
While at the Spa the patient could enjoy and hour of being worried free of what they are going through and focus on the mind, body and spirit. The Spa could also offer yoga as and alternative treatment if they do not wish to have the full body massage. The Spa would definitely offer a sauna for them to just relax as well.
There would also be a section in the Spa for children who are also going through Cancer treatments as well. There would be a little different service offered to them. The older teens could have some of the Spa treatments as the adults.
The Spa could also offer some home Spa services for those who just don’t feel like being around others in the Spa minus the fresh smoothies, juices and vegetables. The patient could be offered other things that the technician could bring with them.
This is to be an experience that would allow the Cancer patient something different and give them something to think about besides their current situation.
