In garter snakes, there is an allele that in the heterozygous condition, produces snakes with a blotched color patterns.  Snakes that are homozygous dominant for the allele are brown.  Homozygous recessive snakes abort early or are stillborn.

If a blotched male is mated to a similarly colored female, what is the phenotypic  ratio you would expect between the 18 living offspring?
