In his essay, "Why Should Physicists Study History (Links to an external site.)?", author Matthew Stanley provides seven different reasons to answer his own question.  Choose one or two of these reasons you found most convincing, or at least interesting, and one that you did not.  Following the Guidelines and Rubric for these reading response assignments, compose at least one paragraph about both your favorite and least favorite reasons, and explain what impresses you--or not--about each of them.  Try to analyze each claim and how Stanley supports that claim--the quality of his argument including rhetoric and evidence--as you discuss the reasons.   Remember your list of Works Cited and any needed in-text citations.
