• What will your final essay topic be? Which writer and which story are you writing about?
• What are the three library database sources you'll be using for your midterm essay? Provide correct MLA style citations for these three sources as well as a correct MLA style citation for the story you're writing about, and then give a brief summary of each source including the story.
• Describe the research process you went through to locate your sources. How was this research process similar to or different from research you've done in the past?
• How did you alter or improve your research practices since the midterm? Or was your research process for the midterm effective? How will you use what you learned to maximize your success in the final essay?
• What is your working thesis for your final essay (if you have one)? If you don't have a working thesis, what ideas do you have for the main claim in your final essay?
