1. What does Descartes think he needs to be settled before he be certain of anything other than his own existence? For what reasons? (p.10)

2. On p.11, what is Descartes’ point by comparing the sun as it appears to his sense perceptions to how it appears to “astronomical reasoning”?

3. Descartes concludes that God necessarily exists on p.14. What are his reasons (premises) is support of this conclusion? (His argument concludes on p.14, but it starts earlier than this page.)
