It is a Newton Raphson question. The answers to the question I am referring to are asking what I expect the 2nd iteration to do, converge or diverge because of the Gnr definition, then the 2nd part of the answer is, and indeed the iteration is either converging or diverging. My question is why would I expect the 2nd iteration to do one thing, and it does another? So why do I have answers that say I excpect the iteration to diverge because Gnr..., and indeed the iteration is converging, and vice versa? Wouldnt I expect it to converge and indeed it converges, or diverge and indeed it diverges. Sorry for the confusing question thank you
