She uses her experience as a reason to trade off less-appealing patients with other nurses in the department. Jayne claims that she's the only nurse in the department that knows how to operate several pieces of high-tech equipment and refuses to teach other staffers how to use the equipment. No one wants to work with Jayne because she's condescending, yet nearly everyone must beg Jayne for help on a daily basis because they don't know how to do certain procedures she's always responsible for.
