Purpose Statement: This assignment seeks to invite students to reflect upon one of the most timeless and profound questions that exist from a humanities perspective.

Assignment details: 

Write a 750-word essay explaining your view on how human beings emerged. In other words, do you believe in evolution, the Big Bang, Creation, or some other theory of the beginning of the cosmos and/or the human species. Ensure you state your position clearly by offering reasoning and/or examples that provide support to your position. This is a reflection essay that invites you to look deeper into the way you view the world, yourself, God, and human beings in general.
