Look at the pos tbelow and reply in your own words what you think. There is no word limit. Setting goals is not only important from a business stand point but also from a personal stand point. Setting goals and having ways to achieve them is what drives business and personal success. If there were no goals then there would be no reason to work, go to school, or start a business. I know for myself I have many goals, some which I have not achieved just yet. Some that I have however have been to graduate high school, go to college, and play a collegiate sport. Some that I am working on and will continue to pursue is to graduate with my bachelors degree, earn my internship and get my MBA. These goals are what drives me to be successful. Currently with my job my managers do a very good job of performance planning. They effectively communicate company goals by figuring out better ways to make us successful so we can increase our sales and also help in correcting our mistakes to deal with poor performance. Performance planning involves establishing direction and clarity of assignments and goals. By my managers doing so they provide a foundation on which they can develop and evaluate our performance
