The topic for my assigned research paper will be on:  In-Depth Integrative Case 2.2: Walmart’s Global Strategics (p. 264)  Information Attached.

Write a complete, one paragraph Abstract of approximately 150 words, containing a main idea/thesis statement that expresses the overarching point of the research paper, and case research questions.

Why did it choose to first enter Mexico and

Canada rather expand into Europe and Asia?

2. What cultural problems did Walmart face in some

of the international markets it entered? Which early

strategy? What countries were targeted as part
