Many universities have been facing controversies because they have been asked to provide a speaking platform for alleged "white supremacist" speakers. For example, Professor Luigi Zingales recently invited former White House chief strategists Steve Bannon to speak on the campus of the University of Chicago. Many faculty and student organizations have erupted in anger as a result, and have demanded that the university not give Bannon a platform.

If Bannon--or someone like Bannon--were to be asked to speak at University, what do you think the appropriate response should be?
