Marketing is imperative for any business rather big or small. Marketing helps pus out the company products/services the business offers, while marketing also helps the company to stay connected with the needs/wants of the customers. Marketing in the long run can help the company to establish a long-term healthy relationship amongst old and new customers. As now a days the competition amongst competitors is huge and marketing helps keep the company brand relevant as well as their products/services. Without a proactive marketing in place it will be hard foe the company to stay in reach with customers and can possibly reduce the number of potential new customers. I feel that instead of cutting back on marketing cost, maybe the company can realign next quarter budget by reducing some in house functions such as company birthday celebrations or other events until the company financial situation becomes more stable. And maybe we can seek marketing vendors that are less costly be are a good source to push out the company product/services.
