We went from pens and paper to personal computers, from traveling by horses to flying in rockets, and from parlor music to rock-in-roll and rap. By the way, the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in NYC was a major event, but it happened on Sept. 11th, 2001 (in the 21st century) and so does not fall within the correct time period for this
