Review Ammons, Chapter 26, Table 26.3 [XLSX file size 11.6 KB] and the related material in the text. There are consistently more calls for service than the number of officers on duty. Using this information, address the following questions:

• Are the increased calls for service the result of a lack of available officers on duty? Why?
• Propose a statistical method or concept to defend or support your position.
