Mr Garcia is a 67 year old Hispanic male complaining of leg pain. The pain is worse when walking and has lasted several days. He has a history of hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and DM2. His lower extremity exam reveals: slightly bluish color, visible varicosities, +1 edema ending just above the ankles, capillary refill brisk, skin temperature warm and peripheral pulses strong.
What are the multiple differential diagnoses? What is the most likely cause of his symptoms? What would your plan of care be?
