On Slide 2 (“Question 1”), in the content placeholder, insert clip art of a photo of a single statue on Easter Island. 3. On Slide 3 (“Question 2”), in the content placeholder, insert clip art of a photo of the Arc de Triomphe. 4. On Slide 4 (“Question 3”), in the content placeholder, insert clip art of a photo of the Parthenon. 5. On Slides 2, 3, and 4, change the second, third, and fourth bullet symbols to a lettered list from A to C. 6. On Slide 2 (“Question 2”), draw a rectangle, and then resize it to .5 inches high and 1.3 inches wide. Position this rectangle about 1.5 inches to the right of Stonehenge. 7. Copy the rectangle. Paste a copy of the rectangle to the right of Black Hills Native American Standing Stone, and then paste another copy to the right of Easter Island. The three rectangles should align vertically in the space between the text and the photo. 8. Select all three rectangles and then copy them to Slides 3 and 4. On Slide 3, proportionately reduce the size of the photo so that the rectangles will fit, and then adjust the position of each rectangle as needed to position a rectangle to the right of each lettered list item. On Slide 4, move the photo to the right, and reduce its size so that the rectangles will fit, and then adjust the position of the rectangles as needed. 9. On Slide 2, add the text Incorrect to the first two rectangles, and then add the text Correct to the third rectangle. Make the text in all three rectangles bold. 10. On Slide 3, add the text Correct to the middle rectangle, and then add the text Incorrect to the top and bottom rectangles. Make the text in all three rectangles bold. 11. On Slide 4, add the text Correct to the bottom rectangle, and then add the text Incorrect to the top two rectangles. Make the text in all three rectangles bold. On Your Own 12. On Slide 4, draw another rectangle, and then resize it so it is the same size as the other rectangles (.5 inches high and 1.3 inches wide). Change its fill to black, and then copy the rectangle to the Clipboard. 13. Position the rectangle so it is directly on top of one of the blue rectangles. Paste the copied rectangle twice, and then position the copied rectangles on top of the other two rectangles on the slide. 14. Display Slide 3 in the Slide pane, paste the rectangle three times, and then position the pasted rectangles on top of the three blue rectangles. Do the same on Slide 2. 15. On Slide 2, insert the photo data file SmallBlue1located in the Chapter 21On Your Own folder. Position the small blue rectangle you inserted to the left of the letter A. Then insert the photo data file SmallBlue2 and position this rectangle to the left of the letter B. Finally, insert the photo data file SmallBlue3 and position this rectangle to the left of the letter C. 16. Select the three rectangles, copy them, and then paste them on Slides 3 and 4. Reposition them to the left of the letters, keeping them in the same order. 17. Add the following as a footer on all slides except the title slide: Click the blue box next to the correct answer. 18. On Slide 2, select the three black rectangles, and then apply the exit animation Wipe. Change the direction of the animation to From Top. Repeat this on Slides 3 and 4. 19. On Slide 2, select the top black rectangle. On the Animations tab, set the small blue box to the left of the letter A as the trigger for this animation. (Hint: Use the Trigger button in the Advanced Animation group on the Animations tab. Select the Picture with the lowest number at the bottom of the list.) 20. On Slide 2, set the small blue box to the left of the letter B as the trigger for the middle black box, and then set the small blue box to the left of the letter C as the trigger for the bottom black box. On Your Own 21. Display Slide 2 in Slide Show view, and then click each of the small blue boxes to watch the animations. End the slide show. 22. On Slides 3 and 4, set the small blue boxes to the left of the letters as triggers for their respective black boxes. 23. In the Title Slide Layout master, delete the subtitle placeholder, the box around it, and the blue rectangle at the left end of the box. 24. In the Origin Slide Master, swap the position of the Footer and Slide Number placeholders. Change the alignment of the text in the Footer placeholder to left-aligned, change the font size to 20 points, and then widen the Footer placeholder so it the right edge aligns with the right edge of the Slide Number placeholder. 25. Select the blue triangle at the bottom of the Origin Slide Master and the Footer placeholder, and position them at the top of the slide above the title placeholder. 26. Close Slide Master view, and then examine the slides. Reset any slides that did not pick up all of the changes made in Slide Master view. 27. On Slide 5, add your name as a bulleted item. 28. Run the presentation in Slide Show view, and check the animation on each slide. 29. Save the presentation. Close the presentation.
