This essay discusses that despite engaging in most activities together, Lenser was rarely given the time out of the homestead to socialize with members of the community, unlike her two sisters. Her stepmother had realized that she had better values with regards to behavior and responsibility as compared to her two sisters who were less responsible and did not depict the true values of a good woman. This did not impress her stepmother since she never wished her any good future.This paper stresses that one evening, lenser was at the compound with her stepmother alone and she got an opportunity to be sent to the nearby market. The form of beauty that she possessed was very natural and she did not have to complicate her dressing to attract the attention of right-minded men. Luckily enough, she was approached by a man who happened to belong to the political class. They exchanged talks and began a relationship against her step mother’s wish. This relationship continued secretly and finally developed into a marriage. When it became public that Lenser was getting married to the economically stable political class, her stepmother never took it positive, just like her two sisters. They had always rated Lenser as an inferior woman due to the fact that her mother was the second wife and was perceived to be inferior despite her good social values.&nbsp.The two sisters had been misguided by their mother and did not have the proper social values necessary for a happy life.
