The textbooks are warning notes to the present economy, politics, religion and the other muscular influential powers that rule the country. The principles and objectives discussed in these books obviously proclaims that they are inconsistent and that will not remain forever. In Brave New World Huxley shows his cynic attitude towards modern political systems and ‘ism. He is indignant towards the political strife’s that go on in the world. He was against all types of political parties, dictatorships or totalitarianism. In dictatorship individuals become tools to serve the ends of the state or political system. Propaganda, suppression of truth or alternation of the past history are the means of political control over the masses. The powerful use of language to propagate dystopian ideas is well utilized in this novel. According to Huxley “A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which all-powerful executives of political bosses and their army of managers control a population of slaves who do not have to coerced because they love their servitude. To make them love, it is the task assigned, in present-day totalitarian states, to ministers of propaganda, newspaper editors, and the school teachers”. In Brave new world Mustapha Mond is the spokesman who is found to be intelligent and knowledgeable. He and his general public used the structure of dictatorship to control the civilized people of Brave New World. Mustapha Mond’s first introduction to the students was enough to stir the minds. He presents a rosy picture of the new world before them . He says “the old men work , the old men copulate , the old men have no time, no leisure from pleasure, not a moment to sit down and think. “. He propagates the idea of an ‘ordered’ society. Most of the characters in Brave New World are types and have little by way of individuality. . For example the director epitomizes the bureaucrat, the controller represents the competent and intelligent man whose intelligence and capability is directed to the achievements of unworldly ends. The savage stands for the type of people who may be regarded as the antithesis of the scientifically conditioned members of the society as found in the future world. Just to make a difference between the people of artificially made world and the real world, Huxley create savage, John in this novel. There Mustapha comes with a new propaganda. About science and art he says “It isn’t only art that’s incompatible with happiness. it’s also science. Science is dangerous. we have to keep it most carefully chained and muzzled”. This message is a propaganda that Huxley propagates now to the spectators. But the propaganda fails to convince the savage. There is immediate conflict between what the savage expects and what he finds between his assumptions and those of the society in which he lives and finds himself. When Mustapha Mond says about the choices which he can accept, after listening to all the answers “I claim them all’ and selects the path to self –destruction.&nbsp.
