Need help writing 3 100 word responses.
Below are three paragraphs that I need help writing at least 100 word response to. I need at least 100 word response to each separate paragraph. Each paragraph was to answer this following question: "While most historians believe that neither futurecasting (predicting what will happen, based on what happened in the past) nor writing "what if?" histories are appropriate approaches to professional historical research, these activities can be useful thought exercises that help us analyze the past from a different perspective and thus help us understand what happened and why in a new way. How do you predict that technology will transform human lives and worldview and over the next century?"
1). I think technology will undergo significant transformation in the next century. I predict that electric automobiles will be the common occurrence in everyoneâs driveway and that fossil fuel vehicles will be obsolete. High speed transit lanes will be built for highway travel that utilizes autonomous vehicles. Robots will also be a common occurrence at fast food restaurants, convenience stores, department stores, etc. Computers will be able to recognize routine tasks and will be able to think ahead for you and assist with preparing documents, and I think the same concept will be available for smart phones. Televisions will provide consumers with the option to purchase flat screens that can interconnect to allow the consumer to build their own video wall. Restaurants will provide delivery service that is fully automated from the preparation of the food by robots, to the home delivery by unmanned drones. Smart homes will provide fully automated lawn care that is run off of solar power and uses a rechargeable grass cutting robot to manicure your lawn without having to lift a finger or pay a service. Smart homes will also have the capability to store energy from solar panels to use during peak usage in the summer and winter months. I think medicine will advance to the point where replacement organs will be grown from stem cells. I think the military front line fighters will be in the form of robots that are air dropped onto the battlefield and controlled by a command post thousands of miles away from the threat.

2). I predict that technology will advance exponentially and for a brief time the world will have more access to food, water, and information. Processing speeds of computers will increase and the size of storage medium for information will decrease. Improved manufacturing practices will reduce the price of goods worldwide. However, I believe a clash of ideologies is imminent. Nuclear proliferation to actors hostile towards western nations will eventually have to be addressed by the international community. The development of intercontinental ballistic missile technology and the miniaturization of nuclear warheads on the Asian continent will draw the United States and Allies into direct confrontation with this threat. If the United States and its Allies move slowly and do not exasperate the situation, and work with China, Russia, and other members of the international community, we could see a period in human existence that is the most prosperous ever recorded. If we are impatient and beat the drums of war, the entire world will lose; the loss of life will be more catastrophic than the Second World War. Seoul would be levelled by artillery in a matter of minutes. Nuclear missiles could actually be exchanged and entire cities laid waste, or fleets sunk in one bright flash. World renowned physicist Steven Hawking theorizes that humans only have 100 years left before we need to colonize another planet, and 1,000 years before humans are extinct.1 He also goes on to state in the article, Stephen Hawking says humans must colonize another planet in 100 years or face extinction, â"With climate change, overdue asteroid strikes, epidemics and population growth, our own planet is increasingly precarious." If humans can overcome their ideological and cultural differences the stars are the limit. If we cannot there will be immense suffering. Although I agree that things may not look entirely rosy, humans have the capability but may not be spurred to act until the necessity is realized. Steven Hawking also says in another article, 4 ways that Stephen Hawking thinks the world could end, "We are not going to stop making progress, or reverse it, so we have to recognize the dangers and control them," Hawking said. "I'm an optimist, and I believe we can."2

3). While most historians believe that neither futurecasting (predicting what will happen, based on what happened in the past) nor writing "what if?" histories are appropriate approaches to professional historical research, these activities can be useful thought exercises that help us analyze the past from a different perspective and thus help us understand what happened and why in a new way. How do you predict that technology will transform human lives and worldview and over the next century?
Technology has long shown the ability to disrupt human lives and their views of the world. Inventions like flight, electricity, gunpowder, and the Internet forever changed the world after their introductions. Looking forward, I feel there are many technologies that will result in a lasting transformation of human lives and worldview over the next century. One of these is the autonomous, or self-driving, vehicle. This technology is already present today and has advanced far enough that it is already being used on public roadways, albeit in a very limited amount. This technology has the potential to be life changing because it could decrease or even eliminate both accidents and traffic. It also has the potential to increase mobility for the elderly and disabled. While these sound distinctly beneficial, it could also have a significant impact in other, not so obvious, ways. For instance, the hospital and insurance industries would stand to lose significant revenue if auto accidents were eliminated. And police departments (at least their traffic segments) and taxi/ride-sharing services would also be rendered almost unnecessary. This could result in the loss of a significant number of jobs in these industries. Other areas where there could be significant impacts are on organ donations and alcohol/drug abuse. It is possible that other medical breakthroughs, like organ printing, could offset these but the potential for negative impact is still high.
